About Mesquite Hall of Honor

Located at gates one and two of Memorial Stadium, The Mesquite Hall of Honor launched in 2018 and serves to represent the impact that sports has played in the history of Mesquite, TX. Each year, Mesquite ISD will recognize individual athletes, coaches, teams and legacy members of the community with induction into the Hall of Honor.

Serving as the perfect landscape for the physical Hall of Honor, Memorial Stadium was completed in 1976. With a capacity of 19,400 people, it is the largest high school football stadium in the state of Texas and features matchups from five high schools in the district, as well as several state playoff games.

The district accepts nominations for inductees through February of each year. Nomination forms are available on this website and on the Mesquite ISD district website.

The purpose of the Mesquite ISD Athletic Hall of Honor is:

• To engage the community in the Mesquite ISD Athletic Program
• To recognize the significant contributions of coaches and athletes to the success of the district
• To maintain a connection to our district’s history
• To motivate others to perform to the highest levels
• To raise the profile of Mesquite ISD
